Thank you for joining us today at the Anthony Wayne Rotary Club. Here is a little information for your consideration of membership....
- An international organization founded in Chicago in 1905 by Paul Harris and friends
- Weekly meetings from 12:15 to 1:15 ... lunch is buffet style and available beginning at 11:30
- Meetings are held at the Hilton Garden Inn at 10650 Diebold Rd. – unless otherwise noted
- Each meeting features a local speaker of interest and significance:
Business Government Not for profit Health Etc.
- Membership is made up of men and women from all walks of business... owners, managers, staff with a desire to serve their community
- Networking with other business individuals is the reason many join, but not the reason most stay
- Service above Self is the motto. We give back to the community that has given to us.
- We financially support:
- Polio eradication
- International health improvement programs – clean potable water; optical; dental; etc.
- College Scholarships to graduating high school seniors in the amount of $4000 each
- Rotary Youth Exchange students (high school age)– In-‐Bound and Out-‐Bound whenever possible
- Rotary Youth Leadership
- Various other local projects
- Rotary International Foundation
- Anthony Wayne Rotary Foundation
With our time we support:
- Community Harvest Food Bank and the projects and organizations listed above
- One another
At every meeting we recite the Rotary 4-‐way test adding a 5th point that aptly describes Anthony Wayne Rotary, “Of the things we think say or do:
Is it the TRUTH? Is it FAIR to all concerned? Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? Is it FUN?”

Fiscal Year: Our fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Billing is completed semi-annually to correspond with the Rotary International Roster and billing. The Anthony Wayne Rotary Club is invoiced for international dues twice a year (July and January), so our roster needs to be updated to include only current members by June 30th and December 31st.

In order to obtain an Additional Family Member Membership, one individual must first obtain Standard Individual Membership, therein adding a family member onto their Standard Individual Membership. Additional family members will be a member of Rotary International and a member of the Anthony Wayne Rotary Club and will have full voting rights. They may hold an office on the board but may not be an officer of the club.
